Welcome to Mid Ulster Ladies Football Club.
The only women's football club in Mid Ulster.
Mid Ulster Ladies FC was established in 2000 and has competed since its inauguration in the Northern Ireland Women’s Football League and NIFL Women's Premiership. The 2005 season saw a historic first in the history of the club as they won the Mid Ulster League Championship. In 2008 Mid Ulster LFC gained promotion to the Premier League after beating Glenavon in a National League playoff. The club have had a proud tradition in the Northern Ireland top flight, reaching the league final in that time as well a Women's Irish Cup semi final. Mid Ulster Ladies have won the Mid Ulster Cup twice in 2014 and 2015 beating Loughgall and Newry City respectively.
The club has produced numerous Northern Ireland international players from U15 right up to senior level including World Record Holder (for the Fastest ever Womens International Goal) and current Everton striker Simone Magill.
Mid Ulster Ladies have a thriving junior section which has won many trophies and tournaments including the Speers Cup and National Futsal Championships but most importantly helps young players to develop both as footballers and young women. Many of these young footballers move up to play in the senior team and help to coach the next generation of Mid Ulster players.
With development in mind, the club moved to NIWFA North 1 in 2017, allowing their young talented players to play senior football along with a spine of experienced club stalwarts outside the NIFL Women's Premiership. This young side finished second in their first season in the third tier which also included runs to the North 1 Cup and Mid Ulster Cup semi finals.
