Mid Ulster win (the toss) against BU

Its always  going to be difficult to write a match report after a bit of a drubbing for your team but here goes.  The crew headed to Billy Neil on Wednesday  night to take on the mighty Glentoran BU.  The Mid Ulster girls were short on numbers for the trip fielding 11 but having 1 super sub on the bench.  Captain for the night Sunnie Magill kept up her run of good luck (the only thing she won was the toss).  The girls knew they had their work cut for them facing a BU side which had more international players than you could shake a stick at but the Mid Ulster girls were undeterred.  Lets not beat about the bush, BU were the more superior team, the pressure on the Mid Ulster goal was pretty much relentless and the 8-0 scoreline was thoroughly deserved by the home team.  However the Mid Ulster girls showed oodles of resilence some flashes of brilliance and when Elaine Junk entered the game the BU team were really quaking in their boots.  Everybody worked their socks off but the girls will be hoping to do much better next week against YMCA.
