The juniors took on Moneyslane in the league on Saturday and continued their winning habit.  As Jacqueline was away throwing the pointy stick Rachel Kelly stepped into goals for the first half of the game.  It wasnt long before Mid Ulster made breakthrough.  Good work from Jessica Stewart saw Samantha Kelly pick up the ball and dance past two Moneyslane players to opening the scoring for the Mid Ulster girls.  Moments later Samantha was on target again this time the beneficiary of some great work from Lyn Sommerville on the right wing.   Samantha then returned the compliment setting up Lyn for her first goal of the game.  It was not all one way traffic but Rachel Rodgers, Emma McFarland and Erin Mullholland were keeping things tight at the back and starting off play with some great passes out from the back.  Lyn Sommerville grabbed a second just before the end of the half to go into the break 4-0 to Mid Ulster.  The second half saw Moneyslane grab a goal back with a free kick just outside the box.  It was well struck and Anna Donnelly in goals could do nothing about it.  Mid Ulster had a number of changes made and with Mollie Young and Eimear McGarrity on the field it was now the junior juniors in action.  The girls reacted well to loosing the goal and after sustained pressure it was no surprise when Emma McFarland played in Eimear McGarrity to score with a first time left footed strike.  Mid Ulster had further chances but the game finished 5-1 then it was off to jump across ditches with Rachel Kelly being the prize winner for this.
