Well Last weekend sure was a busy time for the Mid Ulster Juniors.. On Friday they had Ruth Bs highly successful Club development day.  On Saturday there was the small matter of coming runners up in the Dale Farm Mid Ulster Junior League.  Then on Sunday for the few remaining warrriors (under 12) there was a trip to Dundonald to take part in the IFA First Kicks World Cup Fun day.  Eimear McGarrity, Rachel Rodgers and Katie Conroy made the journey on a beautiful sunny morning to enjoy the 3 hours of coaching and games organised by the hard working Jackie Blythe of the IFA.

The girls were put through their paces under the watchful eye of N.Ireland Womens senior coach Alfie Wylie and his assistant Gail Macklin.  Alfie was hugely impressed with what he saw and said he fully expected that some of these girls would be in the international squads of the future.  Regional Coach Stephen Graham and International star Demi Vance where also in attendance and very impressed with the calibre of the girls.  Once again the Mid Ulster girls gave a great account of themselves with Rachel Rodgers scooping a fair play award and Eimear and Katie catching the eye of the coaches in attendance.
