Mid Ulster Juniors had a busy week.  After training on Monday night courtesy of Elaine, Ruth B and Karen a lot of our current members attended Ruth Browns Mid Ulster Summer Camp on Wednesday and Thursday at the Sports Arena.  There were also a significant amount of new faces at the camp and all the coaches involved were very impressed by the talent on show.  25 girls attended on both days with N.Ireland U15 coach Noel Mitchell running his eye over the participants.  Noel was joined by current international player Simone Magill and Jacqueline Burns and Emma McFarland from the N. Ireland U15 squad that recently retained the Bob Doherty cup.  A number of the other Mid Ulster players and coaches also helped on the two days and even the rain on day two didnt dampen spirits on what was a very successful two days.  Another great success for Ruth and her team. Following on from this the U13 team played the final game of their summer league on Saturday at the Sports arena and Mid Ulster ran out comfortable winners with an 8-2 scoreline.  A hat trick from Eimear McGarrity was added to with goals from Jessica Magee, Kirsten Henry, Sophie Magee, Mollie Young and Annie McKenna.  Megan Ferson in goals, Rachel Rodgers, Eimear McAleer and Rebecca Cullen also played their part in the victory.  This result confirmed the girls placing of coming runners up in the league having been beaten only once by the league winners Craigavon over the entire fixtures.
