Multi skills fun

After wrapping up the Junior league and eating a birthday cake in under 10 seconds you would wonder that the Mid Ulster crew had any energy left for anything on Saturday afternoon, but they did. A  group of local families are hosting children from an area of Belarus affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986.   So when the Mid Ulster girls were contacted to see what they could do we were only too glad to help.  An afternoon of games and fun and something to eat was organised by Chairperson Elaine Junk and a great afternoon was had by all. Ably assisted by a number of club members the girls organised a multiskills session with obstacle courses, tig, skipping and Spear throwing (ok they were polystyrene).  This was followed by games of football and rounders before everyone retired for a brilliant picnic and a nice bit of relaxation in the sun. everyone had a super time and the club would like to thank the parents, coaches and particpants for making the whole experience such a success.
