Mid Ulster Juniors attended the Dungannon Youth Tournament on Sunday 11 May.  Blessed with great weather the tournament was a superb day out played on the great facilities at Loughview stadium in Dungannon.  Mid Ulster had an U15 and U11 team representing the club and although the u11 section was non competitive the girls gave a great account of themselves remaining unbeaten throughout the day and only conceding 1 goal in their final game against Crusaders.  The team consisted of Lilie Crooks, Olivia Donnelly, Megan Neil, Eimear Mallon, Aoife McKinless, Rebecca Cullen and Ellie Cullen.

The U15 team for the day saw the  return of Rachael Rodgers and Mollie Young to the junior fold as for once the age groupings facilitated this.  With team mates Megan Ferson, Annie O'Neill, Eimear McGarrity, Casey Howe and Jessica Magee the girls battled well in a tough group to earn a place in the semi finals.  A tight game against Crusaders saw the Mid Ulster girls win through on penalties that most of the seniors would have been proud of.  The reward was a place in the final against Ballynahinch Youth.  The game was a close affair and it was only in the last few minutes that Ballynahinch took the lead before sealing the win with a second goal.  The girls and coach Hannah Turkington can be proud of their performance.
