U15s reach Futsal league semi finals

By · February 4, 2015 · Filed in News
The U 15 and U11 girls have been competing for the last 3 sundays in the IFA Futsal league inn Shankill Leisure centre.  The U11 section is non competitive which means there are no scores recorded but non competitive is probably the least correct term to describe the games.  Games against Lisburn, Cliftonville and Glentoran have all proved to be thoroughly entertaining and played to a high level of skill and expertise.  Eimear Mallon, Niamh O'Donnell, Aoife McKinless, Ellie Cullen and Aimee McClure will finish off their set of games on Sunday 15 Feb against Foyle.

The U15s scored 3 victories over Lisburn, Cliftonville and Foyle before suffering a narrow defeat to Glentoran in the final game at the group stages.  These performances secured a semi final spot against Crusaders on the 15 Feb.  Good luck to Rachael Rodgers, Eimear McGarrity, Jessica Magee, Megan Ferson, Casey Howe, Annie O'Neill, Lilie Crooks, Amy Bleeks, Amy Frost and Rebecca Cullen for this.
